The guests stay in a peaceful environment.
Located in the heart of Heuvelland, close to Ypres, Poperinge and the North of France.
A warm welcome from the host family, Eric and daughter Hermine.
Our guesthouse has a turbulent history which began in the 16th century. Back then, the estate was a sheep breeding firm, which was more commonly known as a sheep stable.
The estate was partly destroyed after the First World War and has been restored to its original state.
In 1990 we were forced to demolish and rebuild a part of the building.
While we were renovating the guesthouse, we started looking for a new name. Ultimately we went for the “Argilière” estate, which is a reference to the planting of the large orchard. At the Argilière Estate you can enjoy gastronomy, nature, rest and the typical hospitality with a welcoming drink with the host amidst the little donkeys.
